A Concert for Potted Plants
Playing in front of a live audience of 2,292 plants, the @UceLi_Quartet performed ‘Crisantemi’ (The Chrysanthemums) to reopen the Liceu Opera Barcelona in a creative new initiative by Lax Estrella Gallery and Blanca De La Torre, led by Eugenio Ampudia on June 22nd 2020.
The potted plants and a certificate from the artist were later delivered to the same amount of health professionals, especially those at Hospital Clinic de Barcelona.
Who says you need to put people’s health in danger and break social distancing rules to keep music, the opera, and the theatre alive?
