Kelly Preston Loses Battle Against Breast Cancer

American actress and model Kelly Preston lost her 2-year-long battle with breast cancer on July 12th, 2020 at the age of 57. She is survived by her husband, American actor/singer John Travolta, and their children Ella (20) and Benjamin (9); they lost their eldest son Jett at the age of 16 in January 2009.

The late actress starred in dozens of movies and television shows including ‘For Love of the Game’, ‘Jerry Maguire’, and ‘Mischief’. She studied acting at the University of Southern California and got her first major role in 1985 with Mischief. In 1991, Travolta proposed on New Year’s Eve in Switzerland while they were pregnant with Jett. In September 2019, they celebrated their 28th anniversary.
