Duchess Meghan Markle Speaks at the Girl Up Summit

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle spoke at the Girl Up Leadership Summit that was held virtually from July 13th to July 15th, 2020.

Meghan not only gave an inspiring speech at the summit for gender equality, she urged women all over the world to support one another and do their part in improving the situation for coming generations by recognizing the power of the younger generations.

“From lawmakers to world leaders to executives, all of those people, they depend on you more than you will ever depend on them… Not figuratively. Literally… to not only frame the debate but to be in charge of the debate on racial justice, on gender, climate change, mental health and well-being, on civic engagement… that’s the work that you’re already out there doing,” says Meghan when addressing the Girl Up Members as well as the Black Lives Matter movement.
