Texas, USA saw a devastating week on snowstorms and wreckage.

The state saw utter chaos with temperatures going as low as -18C; the government has set up snow-warnings for the very first time.

The 29 Million population saw a mass blackout that lasted for more than a week.

The few homes that did have power during the storm had other issues to deal with; electricity bills skyrocketed with people being charged as much as $17,000 for a week’s worth of power.

The surge happened because of the power supply shortage, causing the prices to go 70-times higher than usual.

The US government is trying to get matters under control; locals are hopeful that Texas will soon be out of the woods.
