Can’t Keep Up with the Kardashians!
Tuesday afternoon on September 8th, Kim Kardashian announced that the reality television show would be airing for the last time early 2021 after 20 seasons of “Keeping Up with The Kardashians” on E! With Ryan Seacrest.
The TV show first aired with their pilot episode in 2007 and has been keeping fans, followers, and critics informed about everything happening in the Kardashian family for a good 14 years’ time. Numerous spin-off television shows were also created after the inception of the original KUWTK show. All of the family members gained massive followings and haters, both, from their time on the show as well as from the fame that the show created for them for their own personal businesses, professions, and careers in fashion, beauty, and even music, as far as Kanye West is concerned. Furthermore, a smartphone video game was also designed and published based on the show called “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood”.
In yesterday afternoon’s heartbreaking announcement that has left millions of followers begging for more all over social media (yes, even friends of the team here at Media Quotient Inc.), Kim K. West wrote:
“To our amazing fans –
It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way.
Thank you to the thousands of individuals and businesses that have been a part of this experience and, most importantly, a very special thank you to Ryan Seacrest for believing in us, E! for being our partner, and our production team at Bunim/Murray, who’ve spent countless hours documenting our lives.
Our last season will air early next year in 2021.
Without Keeping Up with The Kardashians, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who has watched and supported me and my family these past 14 incredible years. This show made us who we are and I will be forever in debt to everyone who played a role in shaping our careers and changing our lives forever.
With Love and Gratitude,
Kim”
We wish the Kardashians the very best with their beauty and fashion lines! Here’s to hoping that the final season coming early 2021 is as great a watch as the previous seasons!
