Arnold Schwarzenegger Slams Trump in Video Tweet
Austrian-born American actor, businessman, retired bodybuilder and former politician Arnold Schwarzenegger tweeted a video message in regards to the Capitol Attack of Wednesday, January 6th, 2021, addressing his fellow Americans and comparing the mob that day to the Nazis in his country. The actor who went on to become the 38th Governor of California (Republican) made his distaste for the current President of the United States of America and of the rampaging citizens of his country openly apparent and obvious.
In fact, Schwarzenegger even went so far as to call him a “failed leader” and somebody who will “go down in history as the worst president ever”! As much as the Republicans, MAGA followers and Trump supporters and stans would hate this, it is unfortunately as true and on-point a statement as one can get. Trump has failed to lead his nation and has continued to cause physical destruction within the USA to the point where memes have started showing up on social media about sending Iraqi troops to America to solve and control the situation. If this doesn’t show how much trouble the superpower country is in, we don’t know what else would.
Regardless of the situation in USA, Schwarzenegger remains hopeful for his country saying that it will “come back from these dark days”. He then goes on to compare the hammering and tempering of the steel of swords to the democracy in the US – that it is bound to become stronger with time and the tempering it is going through currently. In the end, he calls for all Americans to unite under one label – American instead of Democrat or Republican.
Watch the video below and join the Biden supporting actor in wishing the President-Elect well for the coming years:
